In order to improve the mechanical properties of CSG materials, the strength characteristics of cemented sand gravel dam are tested in laboratoty. The natural sand and gravel materials aer chosen as raw materials, and the equal arrregate gradation and sand rate are adopted to improve the mechanical properties of CSG materials. The mechanical properties of CSG materials were analyzed by blending fibers and choosing different amount of cementing materials and ages. The change og strength of CSG and its influencing factors are studied. The experimental results show that the strength of material can be improved effectively by blending polypropylene fiber with CSG material, especially when adding 12% polupropylene fiber. The compressive strength and splitting tensile strength of the speciment reach the maximum value, which is further application of CSG material provides a reference basis.
