Mobility of tracer mass in an auifer is an important issue for the proper remediation of contaminated groundwater. Therefor determination of associated solute transport parameters is essential for investigation of the extent to which groundwater can be contaminated. This study aimed at determining solute trasport parameters for a confined rock aquifer at KURT. Tracer tests are widely used by consulting engineers for demonstrating water circulation, proving the existence of leakage, or estimating, groundwater velocity and effective porosity, and longitudinal dispersitivy.
