Singapore International Water Week

Organized by Singapore’s Ministry of Environment & Water Resources and PUB, it is one of three global water events. It is a strategic program through which Singapore aims to promote itself as a global water industry leader.
Created in 2008 and held every two years since 2012, it is a government-led event centered on business exchanges. Government officials, industrial leaders, and scholarly communities from diverse areas discuss and share creative solutions for water resource problems. The forum consists of the World Leaders Summit, Business Forums, Water Expo, and the Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize.

Over 21,000 water experts and business officials from 115 countries participated in its recent event, introducing advanced water management technology and water projects as well as exchanging technology with each other.

The Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize was awarded to Professor Anthony Cherry for his lifelong contributions to the advancement of groundwater pollution management and processing. The World Leaders Summit, business investment, R&D, and project cooperation reconfirmed the vibrancy and popularity of the forum as a leading global water platform for business networking, solutions, and technology.
